Insurance Assistance: FAQs

Q: Are you an insurance company?

A: No.

Q: Do you make anything by helping me getting insurance?

A: No. We are not affiliated with any insurance companies and do not make any money from this process.

Q: Why do you do this then?

A: Even though there may be different reasons why someone is not insured, we believe everyone should be educated and provided the opportunity to become so.

Q: Is this service going to cost me anything?

A: No. It’s a free service we are happy to provide.

Q: How does it work?

A: First, an on-staff insurance consultant asks you some questions about you to see what you qualify for. Next, they will ask what your needs are and where you live. Based off this information our team will make some recommendations for you. Lastly, they will direct you to either an online platform or a local insurance enrollment site that is convenient for you.

Q: What if I am undocumented?

A: We have a dedicated team that works with the county and the community to help undocumented immigrants get connected with resources. Please notify the pharmacy staff directly, if you need assistance. Our staff is bilingual in English and Spanish.
